On one side of the conversation is Jonah Dempcy, author of “The Human Design Cult,” sharing what, in his own words, “didn’t sit right” with him in the way this knowledge is sometimes used.

On the other side is Veronica de Boer, festival co-organiser, long-time Human Design practitioner, guide, and cosmologist, offering insight from 15 years of working with people and applying this system in real life.

They will be joined by additional speakers – bringing nuance, lived experience, and depth to the discussion.

The intention of this debate is not to provoke fear or devotion, but to explore where knowledge can unconsciously turn into authority, identity, or misuse – and how wisdom can emerge when we look honestly.

Jonah Dempcy is a teacher and researcher of personality typology with a background in philosophy, psychology, alchemical studies, esotericism and mystical systems such as Human Design, astrology, numerology and reincarnation research. He is the founder of the Center for Human Design and the High Desert Human Design Conference with over 150 attendees annually, as well as the organizer of the first Return to the Magic Island retreat. In 2025 Jonah announced he would be stepping down as director of The Center for Human Design and leaving Human Design entirely, coinciding with his book The Human Design Cult, which explores cult-like dynamics in Human Design through the lens of cult analysis frameworks and Jungian psychology. Jonah resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Barbara Le Noble is an Emotional 6/2 Manifesting Generator. She is a Dutch Human Design author, photographer, journalist and podcastcreator. She wrote the bestseller “Grote mensen doen alsof” (Grown-ups pretend) about aware parenting, metaphysics, holistic education, and Human Design. Barbara has been affiliated with Dutch newspaper De Andere Krant since 2021, for which she regularly writes articles and interviews. In 2025 she published Human D.zine magazine together with two other HD professionals. For her podcast Barbara interviews inspiring people about the art of authentic living. Human Design and photography are her two great passions, and Barbara guides people – especially parents, couples, and young people – on the path to awareness based on their energetic blueprint. She also organizes events, masterclasses, workshops and courses to share her Human Design knowledge, based on original revelations and in alignment with cosmic energetic laws. As a photographer she captures people and events in essential images. Barbara is currently working on a new book.

Méris de Oliveira, Emotional Generator 6/2 from the Cross Identification, is Human Design Professional since 2007. She is the founder, together with Ra Uru Hu, of Human Design Brasil since 2006. From the Quarter of Mutation, Méris’ Human Design work brings deep transformation through Foundation, Connection, Cycles and Cross of Incarnation Readings, Primary Health System Process, and as an Instructor, and Human Design teacher, Méris delivers Original Human Design since 2006. Méris was impacted directly by Ra Uru Hu, being his friend and student. Méris performs analyzes in Portuguese and English. She is also a linguist who specialized English and Portugeese at the Meris Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina.

Kathy Bochonko is an American Human Design enthusiast, a 6/2 Emotional Projector with a triple-split definition on the Left Angle Cross of Uncertainty. She was first introduced to Human Design in 2016, a moment that began a profound personal transformation and reshaped how she understands trust, identity, and authentic expression.

Over the years, Kathy has studied and experimented with traditional Human Design, Quantum Human Design, and the Gene Keys. She uses these systems as tools for self-empowerment rather than fixed rules. Her work is grounded in lived experience and a deep respect for the personal experiment, supporting others in discovering what is true for them.

Affectionately known as “Chatty Kathy,” she is the creator and host of Real Human Design Stories, a podcast dedicated to sharing real-life experiences of living one’s design. You can also find her in the Intuitive Human Design Facebook group, and she is the co-creator and co-host of Transit Talks with Jess Tilly, where the Human Design transits are explored through practical, human conversation.

At the heart of Kathy’s work is mentorship. She helps people build radical self-trust from the inside out. She uses Human Design as a framework to support inner clarity and reflect that authenticity outward through voice, style, and presence, so they can shine their light in everyday life.

Dubravka Radonjić met Human Design for the first time in 2007 and studied it at IHDS (The International Human Design School).

In addition to HD, a large part of his life is devoted to developing creativity through movement. She is a pioneer in the field of dance therapy and her work over the years has inspired many individuals including mental health therapists. Her passion is playing with the possibilities of human perception of the world through channels inspired by the senses. She is an eternal explorer of the unknown and a beauty hunter with many years of meditation practice. She is here to initiate the spirit of others into direct knowledge and not just mental interpretation.

In her work she connects the abstract level (dancing body fluid mind-dance), the conceptual level (Human Design system) and the non-conceptual level (the phenomenon of all phenomena – anchoring ourselves in being-meditation ). For 17 years, she has been simultaneously and continuously penetrating all these levels, experiencing them, experimenting with them, studying, living and teaching them.
