Bio:
Ruth E Brennan is a dedicated and passionate practitioner and teacher of Human Design.
She is a Certified Human Design Analyst, a Living Your Design Guide, and a Professional Teacher of Rave ABCs, Rave Cartography, PTLIII, and PTLIV. She’s also a Certified BG5 Business Consultant.
As the Creative & Marketing Director for the International Human Design School (IHDSchool.com) she works with Lynda Bunnell and Lynette Crisfield, helping to create both beautiful graphic art designs and written content for IHDS, BG5 Institute, and Solar Transit Reports. She Co-Authored “A New Kind of Awakening: A Newcomer’s Guide to the Human Design System” with Lynda Bunnell.
Ruth self-studied for a year before it became clear that she needed to work with a ‘human’ to connect the dots. Once she found Bethi Black and Cathy Kinnaird to help her with that, she’s been studying Human Design passionately.
Her clients have shared how much they appreciate her patience, compassion, and kindness. Her energy feels authentic, with no agenda other than to help them feel genuinely cared for. Many have said that for the first time in their life, they feel seen for who they are, not for what others think they are or feel they should be.
Ruth’s many gifts are honed by her life experiences. Her late arrival to Human Design offers a soothing grace to all those she works with. She’s been there, has felt the frustration, anger, disappointment, and bitterness that comes with living what feels like an unfulfilled life. She understands the challenges that come with living without this knowledge, how mental anguish gets in the way and keeps us unnecessarily small, afraid, and exhausted as we look for answers that don’t serve us.
The gift of her personal work as a Human Design professional offers insight, knowledge, love, and compassion to her clients and students. Her gentle way and confidence are reassuring, even as she holds others to the truth of their Design.
She trusts the power of Human Design, knowing from experience that it works, and that it provides a path forward for anyone willing and ready to change their life.
A seeker of spiritual truths for much of her life, she found herself putting that aside while she pursued more traditional goals. After a 20+ year relationship started to crumble and turn ugly she found herself facing a dark night of the soul in 2010. A terminal cancer diagnosis was the crisis (or what the Kabbalists call the Correction) that came in to help her find her way back to herself.
She often says that getting that diagnosis was the best thing that could have happened. Although not cured, Ruth knows that she’s on a profound healing journey and has found peace (mostly) with the ups and downs of living with cancer.
She’s also dedicated much of her life to the arts, including graphic design, theater, and music.
Ruth recorded 2 Children’s Albums and is a playwright of 5 Murder Mysteries that were produced in New York in the late 80s and 90s.
She currently lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest of the US.
